NATURE OF RELEASE: Gearbox Location. MODELS AFFECTED: Commando (All conditions) PARTS AFFECTED: 14367 Top Fixing Bolt. DISTRIBUTION: Worldwide EXPLANATION: We find that operation of a machine with the top mounting bolt insufficiently tight can result in the gearbox moving under heavy load conditions, causing the primary chain to become excessively tight. This put the goarbox mainshaft a severe bending moment which ultimately could lead to a gearbox. failure.   ACTION: Re-adjust the primary chain by turning the adjustor beyond the correct chain tension oint and slackening back to achieve the recommended 3/8" up and down movement of the chain.
