| EXPLANATION: |
All new motorcycles are sprayed with a protective coating after road test and prior to despatch from the factory. The protective coating should be removed before the motorcycle is offered for sale but the choice of solvent must avoid those likely to cause deterioration of any parts, though none of the suitable solvents should be allowed to remain on the tyres.

Remove the protective coating by brushing with any hydrocarbon solvent. The following are recommended:
Petrol (Gasoline) preferred
Carbon Tetrachloride
Trichlorethelene
Paraffin (Kerosene) |
