In July 2023 we started being contacted by people outside the US wanting Norton-related things exported to them.
The first is the
1973 850 Engine and Gearbox for Export to Australia
at the left. Then in August,
1972 750 Engine and Gearbox for Export to France.
Then in September, one customer wants,
Two Norton Frame for Export to Norway.
Those are all finished as of 4/19/24
If anyone outside the US is looking for a good Combat power unit, I have one that is matching numbers but with no title so it's difficult to use here. The bike is being parted out and lots of it is gone but the power unit is only missing the head. It was a Jim Comstock rebuilt head so it sold quickly. I have another head for it. It has new cylinders (850-style 750 cylinders, new pistons and rings and so on. I do not trust the person who built it so I would either want to rebuilt it for the buyer or make the buyer promise to take it apart and check everything. The old guy I got it from usually used all new parts but did things like putting piston in backwards! If it doesn't sell soon, it will just be parted out.
I am also discussing a couple of possible Triumph exports as well. The menu was getting way to long in the Norton pages so all export projects will now be here.
